Scheduling a training seminar - posting your seminar If you would like to schedule a See the Sound - Visual Phonics seminar for your school or community organization, you should contact the trainer nearest where you live. There is a map on this web site to help you find a trainer - follow the instructions in the next paragraph to access it. This paragraph contains links to a map of the United States. Click inside the outline of your State on the map to get a trainer's web page and see their contact information. You should contact Linda Yonce, ICLI's National Training Director, for questions regarding training. Her email is ljy@charter.net. Training seminars (workshops) can also be scheduled individually between you and the trainer on an as-requested basis. Seminars are 11/2 - 2 day sessions with a minimum of 10 - 15 hours of instruction. See the Sound - Visual Phonics materials are available at most seminars. Training fees are negotiated individually between the trainer and you, your school, or your district. Not every trainer is listed on this web site. All of our trainers are independent contractors. Their license requires that they charge reasonable fees for training. Should you become aware of trainers charging exorbitant fees for a seminar they are most likely breaking the law by teaching See the Sound - Visual Phonics without a proper license. Please report any such abuses and we will take care of the problem. If you are a trainer and would like to post your seminars on our web site, please contact Becky at icli.rebeccasnow@gmail.com. Web posts of training workshops will be updated as soon as Becky has your information. Our office must be notified by the trainer first before we upload a post. We will not post any information without a trainer's permission. Check back after 24 - 48 hours to see if your seminar information was posted, if it was not, please notify us.
